Its mainly used for Arabs ... but coz white people cant differentiate between an Arab .. an Iraqi .. or an Indian/Pakistani... its meant for all brown people

You know ... i really don't know why you call it horrible ... it really doesn't make a difference .. i am an Indian and once when i was vacationing in Dublin ... a car full of young native Irish guys drove by me shouting sand *****r .... okay .. i am Brown ... all they said was brown guy ... wasn't very insulting ... you call a black guy *****r thats insultin coz of the big history behind it ... but stuff like sand *****r should be ignored

It is a racist term for Middle Easterners.

I'm glad that Sergeant is mature enough not to be upset by this sort of language, but it IS bad; it's meant to put down another person because of his color. As he noted, it really just displays the ignorance of the user. Someone ignorant enough to use it *might* have meant you, foundry, because to someone like that, everyone brown is the same.

I've usually heard it used in reference to Middle Easterners.
