You COULD say that.... But i think those eggs are failures are never would grow up into a live bird....

Only if the egg has been fertilized. If the egg is not fertile there is no way, save Divine intervention, that the egg can become a chicken.

Generally commercially produced eggs have no chance of forming a chick as the hens are in separate buildings from the roosters who, once they hit the correct weight, usually are killed for food.

No; unless you get eggs from a farmer, the eggs you eat have not been fertilized, so they are not even embryonic chicks.
