Yes, I'm a Muslim. I've studied other faiths and they're all flawed somehow, yet Islam is just soo amazingly beautiful and makes perfect sense! I'm baffled by how people can't seem to look past the stereotypes and personal hatred towards the misunderstandings and just educate themselves about the religion (not even necessarily convert---just know about the Islam). There are some corrupt Muslims nowadays, but the religion itself is the truth. If you want some good websites to look at, there's:

Yes, I am Wiccan. I grew up Catholic. My first husband was a Baptist and I converted. After a while I realized that I was not happy with Christianity. It just didnt work for me.

I found Wicca and the Goddess, a little over twelve years ago. I have been practicing it ever since. I even worked and studied to become Wiccan Clergy. I now teach Wicca and run a small coven. I have never been more at peace in my entire life.

Blessings

No. I am an atheist, but I feel very affected by the Christian religion, due to living in America (and I used to be a believer). I wouldn't say I "follow" it... but I do follow along. Through the ages (and recent years), Christianity has taken devastating blows to its theology, and it won't go away...quite interesting really.

And, holy crap! Muslims are even more brainwashed than christians, check out the guy below me!

I was born Christian...not really following except for easter and christmas...we went to different churches all the time...so I didn't have a constant basis.

Now I'm muslim and Alhamdulillah there is nothing better in life. Allah is my world. I feel at peace with my religion and I thank Allah everyday for showing me the true path I should be on.

Yes, people generally follow the religion practiced by their parents. This is their first conditioning of mind and social behavior. It remains the same if both the parents are followers of the same religion. In other words their is no contradiction in following the rituals generally interrelated with the organized religion. In few cases in the young age the concerned person is in conflict with either one or both of his parents he/she tends to explore other religions also to mark his disagreement with their thought process. This straying away from the religion of parents is some times permanent or sometimes coming back to the original religion of parents for social and personal reasons.

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, and although my mother is still very devoted to it, I stopped being a member when I turned 18. I have never truly bought into the idea of a higher power, so I couldn't bring myself to be a member of a religion when I had no faith or desire to find faith in a religion.

you know religion is the name that a person has put on other people to give them a title in the type of believe that they have. as for me at one time i guess that i was just a wonder er, as i didn't really want to go in any direction so it took me awhile to settle down. as for a label now i would call myself a christen and i have stayed with it for awhile now, but it wasn't like that always, as i way raised a Catholic as a child.
