will the human mind be able to process everything at such a level that we no longer need bodies to experience reality?

Please don't say "we won't be here" cause of end times or global warming because people have always been saying that the world will end and I guarantee even without bodies people will say it 300 years from now.

Let's go on the premise that human beings are smart enough to survive a gradual rise in ocean levels...maybe by building cities in the sky like the jetsons duh (why do you think they lived in an apt attached to a giant pole, because it was the fashion of the day?). We can also go ahead and assume God doesn't have a hit out on the planet.

you all seem to forget the rate of evolution is not constant, and massive evolutionary changes have occurred during short periods because of environmental/genetic conditions. We DO have access to technology and will probably grasp what cognition is enough to have helped in its evolution in some way.

There was a wonderful SF book that talked about humans in the future, where all the intelligent people had left the earth for more interesting planets. All of the people left behind said things like, "What are you, a wise guy."
Do I think in 300 years there will be in-plants that will let you have reality visions? Yes, to a point. We won't be brains in jars, or in pods like Matrix, but there will be interfaces. I suspect it will be called WII version 12.

Maybe in 300,000 years, but on an evolutionary level, 300 years wouldn't be anywhere near enough time to build up the mutations you speak of, if you think that over the past 50,000 years we haven't changed much at all.

there is no such thing as evolution only adaptation.

300 years isnt that long of a time to suggest such a dramatic change in our mind processing info.

Maybe in 300 there will be greater technology to allow more info to be processed or to unlock a way to use more of our brain.

No, our species has been around for tens of thousands of years and a great many of us are lacking in even basic good sense. I wouldn't expect much from the average human mind in 300 years.
'End times'....oh gosh, you mean the rapture?
Well, that kind of proves my point.
