Not entirely true. A civil marriage or one which proclaims 'until death do you part' is acknowledged by the Mormon faith. We just also believe that you can make a marriage last for eternity through the sealing power of the Holy Spirit.

Mormons believe that if the marriage is performed by a person with the proper authority in a temple of God then the marriage or sealing is binding for time and eternity as long as the couple are living a righteous life.
Paul
what are you talking about. The divorce rate, although is getting higher, is still lower than the average divorce rate for temple marriages.

Mormons believe in the concept of eternal marriage. I suggest you check out www.mormon.org or www.lds.org since you keep asking mormon related questions.

We believe in marriage for eternities. Like a Savage Garden song says: "I believe in love surviving death into Eternity"
We believe that marriage is the biggest like endowment you make in your life. A temple marriage survives death and we all dream with an eternal family.

Nope. If the ceremony is in an LDS temple, it fairly is forever. For eternity. some human beings nonetheless say, "i'm so excited to spend my total life with you..." and not point out after dying. yet no, dying isn't stated in the ceremony. via fact it fairly is plenty extra effective than that.

right. They believe in being "sealed" so that they will be married for eternity, not just for their time on earth. This ceremony is done in the Mormon temple, and can only be done if two temple-recommend holding Mormons are marrying each other.

We consider the family to be a very central part of God's plan for his children. We believe families can last forever.

Thanks for asking!
Marriage and family are very important to us. While it is possible for people to be married until death, in temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints couples and families can be joined in an ordinance called "sealing" that can last beyond death into eternity. Many people love their families and are glad to know that it's possible to be with them forever.

How can you say that when they marry so often?
I think they believe more in marriage
than most 5 time divorcees.
