Well, you are already more literate than I'll probably ever be, so I shouldn't be the one offering you advice here...but I have been studying Greek for ages and I love it! Especially since you love the Greek Myths so much, I couldn't imagine a better language for you to learn--even if you only master conversational Greek, it is still a fascinating subject! I've used the Barrons Foreign Service Educational course for about three years now. It comes with 12 tapes and a manual that follows the tapes. Each excercise is formatted to enhance your pronunciation as well as your comprehension and speed--you get to hear real Greeks speaking their own language, both as they really speak it, and then breaking it down for you so that you can get the gist of the different nuances of proper diction. So far I have found this to be the best one yet. I've also used the Cortina Language series, which I find is best if you are just interested in "easy Greek", but both are good courses. Good luck on your French, which I'm sure you will find invaluable wherever you roam.

If you are going to learn a new language, you should make it something that would be useful to you. For example, I live very close to Mexico and many people here speak Spanish because of that.
If you were going to do a lot of business with people from China, then Chinese would be a useful language to learn. Picking a language with a practical application for you would be very helpful.

Good for you! Seeing that you’re a kind of young lady who takes initiative & exhibits a promising future, it would probably profit you and many others for you to learn a critical language. Any language for which more trained speakers are needed than are available today is considered a critical language. Here is a list of those languages:
Arabic
Chinese
Farsi or Persian
Modern Greek
Hebrew
Japanese
Korean
Russian
Much wisdom to you.

Spanish is a relatively easy language to learn because of its mostly simple grammar rules. It is also a widely used language globally.
