I dont htink that the christians are going away from God they are going more towards God.

Who told you that God is there in the Church? Just because you see those figures of God?

If he decides to reside in the Church then what would happen of the rest of the world? He is out there he is with everybody...with everyone..

It matters who finds him OR who is willing to really find him.
Ask God what he says in the Bible and what he wants to tell to you in the Bible. Listen only to him not to anybody else may be dont even listen to what the Evangelists try to tell you.

And may be one day we will not get away from God but will sit there beside him in a peaceful and relaxed manner.
Let peace be upon everybody even on Jesus.

What True god??
What loving god??

Those christians have understood all this is a big hoax..
thats why they have known the flase things about the religon and are moving away..

Thats the reason innocent people in india are converted by deception to keep up the numbers lost else where in the world.

Jesus was just a nice holy man..
Everything else are just stories built around him..

You will know the truth your self soooon..

He is not son of god, or savior or messenger of god..
thats all a big hoax

It was prophesied that there would be a 'falling away' or 'apostasy' occurring. The time is such that we are in perilous times here on Earth. That our personal matters concerning the Lord and our relationship with him increases, and does not lack connection and interest, value and concern.

So I am not Christian because I go to church. I am a Christian because I trust God. And any church that closes their doors because they cannot get attendance had better be prepared; they have been forgetting to preach the Gospel and bringing Christians in to hear messages of things other than trusting God.

So take care. God said these things would happen. And they are already happening.

True Christians are not turning away from God. You have your facts wrong. Those who are turning away from God, for the most part, are people who claim to be Christians, but do not have a real relationship with the Father. Many people play at being Christians, the same as many people play at being religious, unfortunately some don't even realize they missed the person of Christ in all the play acting.

The true reality is that there is no "God" - of any religion. Think about it - really think about it and do your research. Prove that God exists, and you can't. There is more stacked on "God does not exist" because it is like a commercial - religions use God as a means to control the population through a myth they created, and maintained. God doesn't come forth in any shape and form and say "Hey! Here I am!" that is only in the Bible, etc which are always accounts in the past, not the present or future. No prophecy doesn't work, in the God returning, etc etc.. See my discussions as TruthBox at the oprah site, O Groups, etc.

Most intelligent people do not believe in God.

Now that you believe in a "Loving God" is a good thing because at least you have some empathy with love.

However, to give you my opinion, believing in God is for ignorant people, which is why Muslims have increased their faith after 9/11.

If you believe 9/11 was perpetrated by Muslims rather than the US government, then you are ignorant. Further, if you believe it was a good thing, then you are more ignorant.

This shows ignorant people are attracted to the belief in God, which is why the Muslim faith has increased after 9/11.

Now, that G W Bush, Tony Blair and John Howard of Australia say they believe in Christ, that they are Christians, is something that turns intelligent and wise people away from Christianity. Any intelligent people knows the minds of these politicians are infected with evil.

Many wise and intelligent people believe in love but they do not believe in God.

God and love are incompatible because God historically is something believed by nationalistic and sinful people.

God is an ignorant or childish concept for people who cannot overcome their childish egocentric beliefs or delusions of power and grandeur.

Historically, different societies believed in their respective Gods and competed in war to demonstrate their God was better than the other God.

Believe in love and let go of politics and violence and using your religion to justify the evil committed by your nation.

Sorry to point it out, amigo, but Christians are what drives Christians away from Christianity. It isn't the [ha] appeal of atheists, or Muslims.

It's the fact Christians with any class are reluctant to suffer guilt by association in the eyes of non-Christians.

It takes a while, but it eventually works better than inane arguments and nitpicking pseudo-logic by atheists.

All it takes is a protracted exposure to Christians caught in the act of being themselves.

I had to reread your post to make sure you had said you were christian.I was confused there for a minute cause usually it,s non - christians who confuse church going with being in a relationship with GOD.
I DO go to church .2x a week but that is not my relationship with GOD.
I go because I have a good church with good people(family) and were committed to each other and the community we serve through GOD and his son Jesus.
At one time however I did not have a church ,having left one after almost 10 years of being there because of a deep conviction that it no longer was serving GOD but had become apostate.
In leaving I feel I was not turning from away from GOD but away from people who would not hear correction.
It was a sad situation.
there are many christians who dont go to church not because of lack of love for GOD but because of dissapointment in the human part of church.
peace><>
