Well this is all a matter of opinion. We have taken parts of the world for ourself, but we share with all species of the world. We make an effort to live together in peace. Take Africa, we haven't conquered much of that because most dangerous animals live there and that is their territory and IN MOST CASES we respect that.

Just because the whole world isn't paved over (yet) doesn't mean that human activity hasn't touched almost everything.
