There is no statute of limitations on rape in Alabama. It is considered a capital offense.
I don't know if you can sue an organization for the conduct of one of its members.
You need to seek legal council.

I think you need to sue the person, not the organization. I've never heard of a statute of limitations on such crimes.

First of all, I would like to say sorry for your problem. Anybody who does something so vile, should be killed on the spot. Anyways, if the guy who did this is a member of an organizition against raping minors, you should tell the leader or president of this clan, what happened so the propper punishment can be given to this man.

You are going to have to ask a lawyer, because it could depend on things like when you became aware of certain things and when you became an adult.

Now you are going to have to show that something the organization did lead to the crime. That won't be easy to do.

Ummm....honey, I don't think there is such tort--unless the organization had knowledge of his criminal conduct and covered it up! Otherwise, I think I'd be happy just to see him behind bars and have my medical bills, etc. covered by him.

First of all, I'm so sorry you were raped. Second, it's best to get legal advice from an attorney. I certainly hope you get the help and healing you need. I wish you happiness in your future.

IDK, but why don't you sue the person not the organization they're affiliated with? I mean, would you sue Starbucks if one of their employees raped you?
