Why do you love someone who thinks it's funny to treat you like crap? There's no "on the other hand." He's nice to you when he wants something from you. The rest of the time he obviously doesn't even give you a thought. He can get away with this behavior because you let him.
Sometimes it's hard to stop loving someone even when the relationship is really lousy. I have an idea that's a little bit easier. Instead of thinking about him, spend some time and energy thinking about what YOU want from a relationship, and what you want for YOURSELF. And whether or not you can afford to waste any more time in a relationship where there's no chance of that happening.
I've been there. I'm going through it now. :-( It's really tempting to imagine how great things would be if only he'd change, but it's more productive to take matters into your own hands, and make good things happen for yourself.

Too much stress. You don't need that stress because stress can hurt you physically if there's enough of it. If you two are dating, there is no reason at all why he is not calling you for a week, none at all. You may love him, but if he doesn't talk to you for a week and he can take that...he doesn't love you, so why waste your time going on and on with him and in and out of the relationship with him.

Sounds like he is scared and not really sure what he wants. If he is young (early 20's) it makes sense. Just maybe confront him and be upfront," what do you want from this relationship." Give him the opportunity to be honest and that no matter what he says you won't get mad, you just want to know where this is going. You deserve to find the right guy. That's what dating is all about finding the perfect match for you. Good Luck!

Apparently, two of you are not communicating with each other. Find a time to sit down and talk about what's annoying to each other and what's wanted and needed.
You phrased your question as it is your problem. No, it is a problem that involves both of you and can only be solved by both of you. I think you need to realize that first. If he is not willing to work with you, then that's your answr, too.
Start a coversation and see where it goes. Good luck.

I'm in the same situation.Try talking about stuff beyond the surface. Maybe he is going through a hard time. A depression? A family situation? Be ther for him and let him know it. But don't feel like you are respnsible to be the one to change him. Wait it out for alittle while

Give your self a break from him and if he loves you back truly then he'll call you or see you right away, and remember guys are not that good at showing their feelings to girls that they truly love or care about.

He doesn't sound very mature. I wouldn't put all my eggs in his basket. There's definitely more fish in the sea.
