I didn't for a llllllllllllllllllllllllllllong time. My whole life until now actually. Basically what happen was that I met a girl, she wanted the samething in me that you want in him. She wanted me to wear it and smell nice. So we went out to the mall in the cologne area of Boscovs and we sprayed every sample on those pieces of paper and chose one that we both thought smelled good. She said dang it, we are getting you cologne so we did that and we came to the agreement of liking the Perry Ellis kind I got, and she got me it for my birthday. I don't know if he's the type that will do that but it worked for me because I like shopping with the girl I like.

I don't wear aftershave or cologne everyday, but I do like it and I do wear it occasionally. Besides simply telling him that you want him to wear cologne, you should use your "female power". Most guys listen to what ladies tell them. If you tell your boyfriend that a certain fragrance really turns you on, then I think that will prompt him to buy something. You can also try buying him some. Before buying any cologne I make sure my wife loves it because I want it to alert her senses more than my own. Trust me...tell him that you'll be all over him like a scene out of an Axe commercial and he'll be wearing it the next day.

I guess you could tell him...but if he dosen't smell nice maybe you should get him to work on taking a shower :-)
Some guys don't like to bother with it, actually I think most guys don't like to bother with it. I have a hard enough time getting my husband to shave let alone ask him to use after shave. By the way aftershave stinks and if he dosen't use it right it stinks more.
Buy him some of that sented bodywash stuff, then he will use it in the shower and not have to remember to put it on.
Goodluck with that.

You don't have to put something on to smell good. I like smelling clean and may take two to three showers a day to stay that way. I hate too much cologne or perfume.

my husband doesn't. get him to wear the Axe stuff first. then tell him he smells nice. take him to a cologne counter at the mall, and ask him what he likes. if all else fails, leave it alone. you can't make someone do something. do you really want him wasting money on something he won't wear?

The best bet is to find a fragrance you both like. Browse the "Men's Fragrances" (see link below), and pick out some fragrances you like. You can start with the Best Sellers, which are usually pretty good.

I am allergic to most of them. I put them on and sneeze all night long. My ex could only wear a few perfumes or lotions for the same reason.

Ask him if he likes it when you wear perfume. Tell him how aftershave makes you feel.

you could always buy him some, tell him that you love the smell of it. then when he does wear it make sure that you notice and show him how much you like it.
