guys please help me decipher this......here are the facts:

since the day we met we have been texting a lot everday
we have been spending saturday nights alone together just hanging out
we hang out so often.....watching movies and dining out
we often spend whole day until wee hours during weekends
he listens to me intently when i speak
he shares his inner thoughts with me
we have been having deep conversations
i think we've gone really close in a matter of 3 months
one time he mentioned love is NOT his priority
he's acting like a good friend though
he empathize with my feelings

please tell me guys, with the above facts, is it just purely friendship that he wants or it could be more?

I think that by the way you worded this question, the answer that you yourself would give is "it could be more." That was one suggestive list of events there, my friend.

My question is, though, why nothing has happened yet. Why hasn't he tried to kiss you? Is it a matter of age (perhaps you're very young?) If you're older, what is his relationship history? It will be a guide for how he'll probably act in most future relationships--was he a decent and loving friend to his lover, or did he lead people on and get nowhere?

It sounds like you have the makings of a great romance--now make it happen. If he passes muster even after my first paragraph, tell him how you feel. If he rejects you, you know you were being led on--he knows very well that he's being more than JUST a very good friend in his behavior. ;)

I'm not a guy but I do have a 29 yr old son and I can tell you he likes you well enough but truth is he thinks of you as a sister or very good friend you have to change the situation and tell him you want to be more then JUST A FRIEND or he will always see you simply as that.

FYI, on the pure facts from your story your guy might be looking for something more than just a "free time" ... you know what? the best way to answer your question is just to pop the question!, ... ask him if he likes you, don't scare him, be diplomatic, .. .and cute, just state what you've observed, and where he'd want to go with this, ... you don't have the whole life to find out that he's just trying not to make you feel sorry!?!
Give him a dead line to answer your question ...

Guys and gals can't be friends unless they find something about the other person slightly repulsing. Therefore, either something about you repulses him, or he's falling for you. Plus it doesn't have to be love right off the bat. My parents weren't "in love" for the first couple years they were seeing each other. Both had just had major divorces, so they weren't interested in love at the time they met.

Friendship is the most important thing in life. Sex is just temporary and then they move on to the next. Friendship will last forever. Stay friends thats most important.

wow! i think you both are really enjoying a great friendship there. well, i guess you should just enjoy every moment of it and just let things flow..

if he's really interested in something more, don't worry, he will tell you about it soon.. maybe he wants to build a good friendship first before taking any step forward.

i would suggest it already is more ---- do you or he spend time (romantic time) with anyone else??? ---- if not then dont try to label what you have ---- let it develop and mature and enjoy what you have ---- i feel too many people try to force a relationship into a mould --- we are all different we all want different things --- so go with the flow and keep an open mind ---- best wishes

I reckon he likes you. But seriously, before you find out whether he does or not, maybe you need to think about it.

Would you prefer to just be friends? You obviously get along with each other really well, maybe dating would ruin that.

Trust me, I know first hand. Think about it...

well it is hard to tell... the whole love thing could be to see if you have feelings for him...however if he is intimate with you (intimate in terms of making love (if ur at that point) instead of just having sexual intercourse) then he is probably looking for a signifigant other... my honest opinion though is to ask him not a bunch of random strangers that you will never meet.

It's more, but he wants it to be exciting in a friendship way. That's how i exactly act with most girls. Even though i like them more but i dont show it.

Trust me, that's what it really is
