race is not so much the issue but rather the complete lack of education or anything worth contributing to the betterment of The United States.

It really doesn't have to do with race whatever the color, it's the fact of the way the Mexican people are trying to enter the United States. If the people in Government sat down and went over the true problems and looked for a way to resolve it, it could be over in a short time. People say that the Mexicans are taking all the jobs away, I don't see any of them doing any jobs that the Mexican labor force are ready and willing to do if they could come to the States on work visas. Of all the people coming to the US the Mexican work force has done a great job in support everyone, they just need someone to work with them on how to go about their benefits.

One more time, race isn't the problem, being ILLEGAL is the problem.
The US grants more green cards to Mexicans then any other country.
If you were to put together a list of the top ten countries that send us LEGAL immigrants, not one would be a European country.
If you added ALL the legal immigrants from Europe together they still would not outnumber the legal immigrants from Mexico.
We want the border hoppers gone, we also want those who overstayed their visas gone. Laws targeting illegals effect both groups the same.

it would be harder to single them out if they were white. it'd probably be similar to WWII when the government and everyone started going after Japanese-Americans instead of German-Americans. It's easier to single out the people who don't look like the majority..

For many racist not. But for many xenophobic people it would be the same thing, just like in the late 19 century the people who claim be "real patriotic americans" hated the irish and jewish people.

people from Canada tend to stay in Canada, and if they do come to the U.S. they tend not to over stay their visa.
So the answer to your question is yes, it would still be a big problem
