I can't find a descent job and i'm getting so desperate i'm a student so I don't have a degree or too much work experience. I'm just looking for some pointers or any advice. I have been out of work for 6 weeks already

get a part time job in financial services......
you can earn while you learn......while helping others......
can't beat that!!!

restaurants usually let you work without experience
it's hard at some places
but there's so many that you can find work in one if you check um out
even if you just start as a hostess you'll be able to work up to waitress if you do well
kitchen work isn't off limits for girls either
but i've worked in them and i always get acne from the heat and such
not everyone has that problem though

Start with the temp agencies .
You will probably work for several places ,
But soon you will find one that is a keeper !
