Stop worrying about what kind of world your children will live in. There will be a new world, remember that. Ask God to save their souls for the new world because life is too short down here to worry about it.

I do to some degree, like the global warming, the stupid politics, pollution, etc. but I have tried to raise my son to be a responsible citizen so he can try to make his own small part of the world a better place to live.
I've always taken him along with me, and he's volunteered as well, when I did my American Red Cross Disaster volunteer work. As soon as he turned 17 he started donating blood, solely on his own and I was very proud of him for that. He's seen both his stepfather and I volunteer at his school and now that he's in college locally he's gone back to his high school and is volunteering at the Drama Dept to help out (his college major is Theatre).
So, yes, I do worry about the world he will be living in but I also think that he will work towards making his own small part of his world to be a better place.

I am a parent. I worry about my children. I worry about who they will be with. what they are doing. how they are feeling. my biggest concern is my childs' safety.
I do not worry about the kind of world they will grow up in. I know what kind of world it is. It's a world of cruel intentions, belligerence, and terror. It's a world of hate and fighting. What I worry about is how I can make my children aware of the everyday terrors. How they can make a difference in changing our world.

I used to, when they were younger.
Then, I took a stand, tried to help others in the community so the community my kids grew up in was a good secure one. I have no control over the world we live in, but I did have control over our little sector.

Yes, but I don't spend time dwelling on it. I could sit and worry, or I could stand and do. What I do may not change the world, but it does make a difference, one person at a time. (Of course, that difference ain't always good, what can I say, I'm tragically human ;^)

I know what kind of world they are living in. I did my best to give them what they needed to succeed and the rest is with God. They are making it OK.

Absolutely. It's never going to be nice as it was when I was a child. It will be more violent and destructive, than it is now, when my son reaches 25. He's only 10 now.

Every parent does to some degree. But I strive to raise my children to make their world a better place for all.

I don't worry because I know that God is in control of their lives. I am concerned because I do not want them to have to suffer in any way. I know that the world is going to get worse, alot more famine and I believe that the US will probably go through another depression sooner or later.
