Is getting a job for starting general doctors very hard?

Is it very competitive to get a job? Will I be stuck jobless for a few years?

Someone, it is very unlikely you'd go long without a job. You might have to apply for many, just because some jobs will be looking for some background you might not have. There is actually a shortage of physicians, so you are very likely to get several offers. Especially GP (general physicians, or family physicians,) because they have the broadest knowledge base so they can send patients to specialists.

During school you will feel the competitiveness of medical school. Many of the other students will want the best jobs, as will you. So work hard to learn all you need to know, and you will find a job you love.
