doesn't the code work the same for non-English versions of the Bible? Is this proof that God favors the English language?
And why have all the events revealed in the Bible code already happened? Why can't they use it to predict the future?

Okay, if the code only "works" in Hebrew, does that mean God favors Hebrew? Why doesn't it work as well in other languages?

Don't ask questions. The bible code will let us know when it is time. Then Neo and Morpheus will save the day.

The Bible code only works on the Hebrew version because that was God's original written version and in a dead language so the words would not lose their original meaning. It only works on the OT.
Hebrew is written with no punctuation, just one continuous string of characters with each character having a unique number attached to it. You cannot ask specific questions of the future, because it hasn't happened yet, so any reference you get will be vague with no details.
While scientifically it can't be proven the findings are so specific in detail that statistically it can't be explained or challanged. I believe that God could and would do something like that because the Bible itself is written past, present and future it is 3D in reality.

It actually works for any version of a sufficiently large book. Note the two bible code books were done from the Hebrew not the English.

I am Christan however i don't believe in the bible code. I think they did the same thing with the book Moby Dick and found similar predictions. And i actually do think that believers of the bible code have already tried using it to predict the future. I think they found something about the world ending due to a nuclear holocaust. However I think it's simply a coincidence.

I've taken college final exams that were easier than answering one of your YA questions!
The odd thing I noticed about the Bible is that there is no knowledge in there more advanced than the knowledge of the bronze age authors. If it is the inspired word of God, and God knows everything, why isn't there some mention of the the planets going around the sun or that the earth is round or just, well, anything! Weird!

The Bible, of course, was written in a number of languages, none of which was English. The Bible code, while fascinating, is merely a distraction from its true message. The teachings of the Bible are not to be found in some hidden cypher, but in plain view. If you want to know what God wants us to know, then simply read.

I wonder why you believe in it too. The bible code is nonsense in any language. You can find 'meaning' in any piece of text using the equidistant letter sequence method but that's due to probabilities and nothing to do with hidden meanings. The bible is no different.

It doesn't work for the English version, only the ancient Hebrew version which was the original version. No translation works, only the Hebrew!!
They did use it to predict the future, that's why I like it. They predicted the assisination of Yitzak Rabin and then it happened.

Because you have to know what happened to search for it.
Personally I think it works! It is such a massive thng that it would have been established by God in the Bible, no human could do that, let alone numerous writers over 1100 years.

Probably because the Bible code is a crock of ****. The Bible code can be used to find assassination plots in the pages of books like Moby Dick, too. Crock of ****.
