If God had made man to worship him, he would not have given him a free will. You would be a robot and worship would be part of your program. Man has decided that God the creator is worthy of worship. Who do you turn to when you are in need? And who do you give thanks to when you are given all your needs. Maybe your parents, maybe no one.
I suggest you have an attitude of gratitude towards God. The creator of all that is.
God want your Love by your free will, not because you are made to give it. In reverence, we worship God! and rightfully so.

God is not humble, he is a jealous God but we have Jesus as our savior. Without Jesus to cover us, you would see more of his destructive power.
Why Jesus died For Us
He is our sacrificial lamb who shed his blood to cover your sins: past, present and future. If not he died at the cross in vain. He full filled (Luke 24: 44) and nailed the 10 commandments to the cross (Colossi ans 2:14). Christ did not die in vain (Galatians 2: 21). The spirit or the works of the law (Galatians 3: 2). Christ is the end of the law (Romans 10: 4). The law is our tutor no more (Galatians 3: 24 – 25). God will remember your sins no more (Hebrews 10:17). You are a sinner for life, there is nothing that you can do not to sin (1 john 1: 7 - 10). You can not go out into the world and do what ever you wish, just because Jesus covered your sins (Romans 6: 1 - 3). Hebrews 8: 7 – 13 (he wrote the laws into their hearts, so that you would know right from wrong.
If you have faith in Jesus and are obedient to God, then you are not under the 10 commandments.
If you do not believe in Jesus, then you are under the 10 commandments, now you need to bring your unblemished goat to the alter every year and sacrifice it to cover your sins but with Jesus, he is our new covenant.
You are justified by faith and not of your works

I don't think God is a "he" - I believe that It is a Power. The Power of Love. I don't worship God. I just use the Power. I let It work through me to be a better person.
God is not humble - or demanding worship. It's just there. Use It if you choose to do so.
Namaste!!!

God doesn't make people worship him.....people make people worship him.
Remember.....men wrote the Bible, so they put into it what they wanted and felt was needed at the time it was written......you have a choice to believe it or not....do what it says or not.

Good question. God worships himself also. He humbles himself in obedient worship of himself by being agape Love. He sacrificed himself for us in humility of love . God is love and He is obedient to love. He is faithful. He keeps his promises. He is gentle. He is everything that love is.

God doesn't have to be humble. People have to be humble in recognition of how small they are compared to God. God is simply perfect. He allows us to worship Him because He knows that doing so helps us to reach our full potential as human beings. God has no needs, and certainly doesn't benefit from our worship. We alone benefit from it.

Being humble means recognizing your true worth. Regarding yourself as less than you are is not humility, it's low self-esteem.
G-d knows what he is worth, that he is the ultimate good. He created people so that he could share that good with them. This time of sharing is what is normally called, "Heaven," in English.
For that sharing to mean anything, it also had to be voluntary. So He made them with the capacity to choose not to share His good and to remain seperate from it. The capacity to make the choice is called Free Will.
When people decide not to experience the ultimate good, which is G-d; they then experience the lack of that good. The experience of that lack is where we come to a discussion of hell.
