You don't sound like you're overweight. But if you avoid junk food and exercise, eating a vegan diet can help you lose weight.

When I first went vegan, I cut out a lot of crap and lost some weight. Then I discovered all sorts of goodies and gained a bit back, although my clothes are looser than they were before I went veg.

It can. But weight loss isnt a good reason to become Vegan.

You can get the same effect from just not eating carbs or lipids, and increasing your daily intake of vegetables.
Also, try excersizing.
The trick is to first figure out how many calories you need to intake every day, then cut 500 out of that. Then do 300 calories worth of excersize everyday. You'll loose roughly a pound a week.

Not really. It's hard to get all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs with a vegan diet. Do what a famous movie star does - she eats what she wants to, just half of what she wants!

not necessarily. It depends on what you're eating and how much. My sister became a vegan and she actually gained weight.
