You can send photoshop files through email by simply attaching the file(s) to a new email. No additional downloads would be required. The recipient of the email will have to have Photoshop installed on their computer to view the file(s).

The only problem you may have is with the file size. Email providers often limit the size of each outgoing email - the size of the email (message + attachments) must be under the maximum file size limit of both the sender's email provider and the recipient's email provider for the email to go through. If the file size is too large to email, try using a free service such as http://www.yousendit.com/ This site will allow you to upload large files and email a link to the recipient. You may also try compressing the file before sending - just make sure the recipient has an appropriate program to uncompress the file.

Agree with Meikai... Zip the files first... The best reason for this is someone has a spam filter turned on the files may be getting deleted before they get to the intended party.
Zipping the file will resolve this issue then they can unzip and use the files as intended

As long as the other person has photoshop, I would use winzip, just zip it up and attach it like any other file. You can also upload it to a site like yousendit.com.
