Excellent. You can't sell it to me unless I want it. Period.

Being informed makes for good sales resistance.

Understanding "how things work" helps a lot.

When you understand marketing from the inside out, you are bulletproof.

Sales resistance? Are you imlying that a sucker is born every minute and perhaps "religion" is for suckers? Is this your implication?

Assuming that is the case, I can resist a sale. If I am in the market for a car, I choose the car I want and inform the salesman what I want to pay. If he wants to counter offer, he had better back himself up with some credible facts, proving to me that his deal is worthwhile. Otherwise, I walk.

Most of us are not out to resist a sale, but we all want to resist being conned or ripped off.

I am a Bible believing, Gospel preaching Christian. No one sold me on the idea - I was presented with the facts and I decided that the evidence was solid for me to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. This comes with an eternal life warrantee, a perfect retirement plan and after over 30 years, the deal keeps getting better.

As somebody once said, the best defense is a good offense. Knowing what you DO believe, and not sitting around worrying about defending it to every bozo that walks in the door demanding that you do so is the best resistance I know.

I'm Jewish.

Atheist - I consider every sales pitch to be BS (for anything being sold or pitched) and you have to be honest and intelligent to get me to even listen. Without proof or evidence of any claims in the pitch, the deal is over.

no one has sold me anything I was not going to buy. the reason, i'm materially oriented. has nothing to do with my faith. Just hate clutter.

the best compliment I was ever given, "i dont understand you, you are not motivated by money, sex or power, you are a LOSER"

that should sum it up nicely don't you think.....that is an honest quote by the way

Pretty good. I like to play a game that involves seeing how long I can keep telemarketers on the phone before they hang up on me. I am a Christian.

I can say NO faster than anybody I know. And I stopped caring what others thought of me a few decades ago.

Maybe that was why God decided to intervene and deal with me Himself.

Thank You, LORD!
