No one could possibly answer this!
1. What is a "reasonable price?" In other words, what is your realistic budget?
2. What is a "flatscreen (sic) tv?" Are you talking LCD, plasma, CRT, rear projection, or?
3. What SIZE screen do you want/need?
I can tell you to stay away from the third tier (junk) TVs, the "bargain" brands you've never heard of, like Ilo, Insignia, Maxent, Element, Vizio, Olevia, etc., and names you usually associate with cameras and appliances, like Polaroid and Westinghouse. Post your answers to 1-3, above and I'm sure you will get some assistance.

I have a 32" Visio LCD HDTV (720P) that I paid $799 for at Costco. It is now $699 (several months later).
Here is a checklist that I came up with:
1. 1080P HDTV (either LCD, DLP Rear-Projection, Plasma. In that order)
2. Screen size, at least 32"-52". Depending on the room size, use this formula... Distance from where the tv will be in inches divided by 3 equals approximate screen size. Example: 108" from tv center to couch gives you a formula of 108 / 3 =36. So a 36" screen would be perfect.
3. Look for a flatscreen that displays colors evenly. My Visio has a problem with red colors. It will saturate if there is too much red in the show.
Do your own research. Search Google for flatscreen reviews and recommendations. Consumerreports.org is a really good site for product reviews, as they are unbiased.
Good luck in the search for your perfect HDTV. :-)
