We have the same feelings for one another but agree we can't "date" because of work. But we are really into each other... we have not spent any time together out side of work yet... we would like to but know we shouldn't... how do you know if it's worth looking into with out going on a date? Changing jobs? Everything seams so right between us but we work together.... what do you do?

If you wish to pursue a relationship with this person, one of you should change jobs or departments.
It's never wise to "fish off the company pier", if things don't work out it could make for an uncomfortable situation for you both.

Is changing jobs an option?
You could start seeing each other now and keep it on the sly, but that mean no going out together... that sort of secrecy will get old.

I guess it just depends on how strong your feelings are for one another... is he just someone you're mildly interested in and think is attractive? Or someone you feel you really click with moreso than anyone you've met in a long time? I think it's worth pursuing... I'd probably go for it!

Maybe try getting to know one another (even outside of work) as friends first. Then, if things don't work out (and he's still your boss), hopefully you can go back to being friends, you know? It'd be harder to remain on good terms if you didn't have that to start with.

It depends on how good the job is and how career focused you are. You can't really ever tell if things are going to work our or end up long term. That's really a decision you have to make because you're the only one who has to live with it. Career or possible love interest? It's up to you, and good luck! Oh, and be sure to find another job before you leave the one you're at.. I'm sure the boss will give you an amazing recommendation. :)

I hate that rule. If two people love one another, I do not believe that business should keep them apart. It's like your mom telling you not to date someone. Would you just say, "OK, mom, whatever you say?" The decision is up to you.

Just keep it discreet, and make no talk of it at work. If it doesn't interfere with your job, it shouldn't be a problem.

If you get married, that's a different story, but we aren't even there yet. :)

Love is about taking risks. But it's an even bigger risk if you let it pass you by. It's up to you guys to decide. If both your love is stronger than whatever, then in the end you guys will be together. "What ever's meant to be will work out perfectly".

Fallen for your boss.... there may be physical chemistry or even similarities but by no means venture into this unless you are planning on a new job career

Quit. Even if nothing comes from it it's only going to get really awkward really quickly.

Change departments. Then you can date.
But if he's married, none of this is a good idea.
