No, I am happy to be a Christian.
If I primarily looked at the bad of every situation, I'd have nothing good to look at.

God can slaughter whoever He wants. He started your life and can end it any time He chooses. You broke His law, the Ten Commandments, so He has no reason, except His own mercy, grace, and love, to keep you alive. No one really deserves to live, in the strictest sense of the word "deserve." If the Bible is true, you can disagree with me if you want but you can't change anything about God. As far as being good, moral, or loving people, consider the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and nearly every hospital in America. Who started these organizations that care for those in need? It was Christians. Now consider atheistic communist nations. How do they treat those who are less fortunate?

You better believe He did this, not because He's the bad God that you try to make Him out to be. but that it should be a warning to you and others as to how much God hates sin. He will not tolerate it! Sin kills, steals and destroys and God has always and will always judge sin. You need to read the Bible and find out WHY God did these things and if you dig down deep enough you will find that YOU are the reason that He did them. You will find that it was because of God's great love for you and all mankind. You will find that God was trying to get a Saviour into this world that would come and allow himself to be killed by people like Hitler (People that hated Him so much ) and yet He loved them so much that He would pray for them while they were killing Him and pray "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Until you know this God of love, you will never truely understand Him and His ways and realize how much that He loves you and all that He has done for you. See, right now He's our Saviour but one day he will be our Judge. And on that day if you are still found in your sins, you will be judged in your sins. Remember that it is sin that kills and God will cast all sin into the lake of fire to be destroyed for good and if you are found in that sin then you too will be cast into the lake of fire and it will be God who will cast you in. It won't be because God doesn't love you, He does, it will be because of your choice to be a sinner.........
I would like to say ... That I'M PROUD TO BE A CHRISTIAN!!!!

That rant is typical of (some) non-believers who twist verses in the bible or take them out of context to put a bad spin on something. All that he's referring to came from the Old Testament -- before Jesus was crucified for our sins.
And if you (and that responder) knew anything about God at all, you would know better than to judge God; for He will be judging you, as we all will be judged by Him.
So to answer your question: Absolutely not. No one could ever make me second guess my faith and trust in God.

You conveniently left out the part about those people being wicked and evil. They mocked God (just like a lot of people here), The inhabitants of the Promised Land, before the Israelites arrived, had been sacrificing their children to fertility idols for over 400 years. They all served false gods, just as Islam, Buddhists, Hindus and other false religions do.

A word to the wise: The link you posted took me to a commercial music downloading site. Commercialism, I believe, is a violation of the Community Guidelines. Careful someone doesn't "Report" you and get your question removed altogether.
Now, as to the answer to your question: NO. For God to do all those things, He'd have to be cruel and inhuman, right? Wrong! First of all, God is righteous, and has the right to deal with evil in whatever way He chooses. Second of all, you can't blame God for Man's inhumanity to his fellow man! Thirdly, God has made a way of excape: Jesus of Nazareth.

those drowned were an Egyptian army fully equipped with weapons, coming on horse and carriage, while the Israelis had nothing to defend themselves, their backs against the sea.
those plagued and slaughtered were those armies who came against Israel with intent to totally wipe them out.... exactly like Hitler did to those Jews in Germany.
God made many Israeli men into an army in order to fight and survive those who came against them.
hardly unwarranted as one would make it sound.
but such a statement as accusation against God comes from someone who doesnt really know who they are talking about.
so why would i want to join them.

I don't understand His ways but I trust them. I must say sometimes I wish the Bible was easier to understand so that everyone would come to God, but that isn't the way it is. The God of the bible isn't some "feel good God with warm fuzzy stories. The Bible is full of sin and corruption. A Holy and Perfect God had to deal with it all seriously and if that is your excuse for refusing to believe then so be it. Someday we will all have perfect understanding. Praise be to God

You're talking about the Old Testament. I have trouble with that too.
And yes Christians do have a reputation for thinking they're right, and wanting everyone to think like them or else.
We all should make up our own minds and Christians and non Christians alike should respect differing opnions.

That statement wouldn't change anyone's minds. They would say the people God killed were killed for a reason and it was God's will so it was the right thing. Hitler on the other hand was being controlled by Satan so he was wrong.. or something like that
