I recently had taken my dog to a vet because i noticed a change in her attitude lately. Her face has also drooped down on the right side and swollen slightly. Her right eye no longer closes even when she sleeps.

The Vet told me that it could be a couple possible things. She said that it could be a brain tumor, seizures, or from head trauma. She has never been abused in my household but i had taken her to a kennel for a night not too long ago.

Her attitude seems fine now and shes the same old dog but im worried and i dont know what to do. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for what else to do or experiences with something like this.

Thank you for your help.

I've never seen a dog that's had a stroke, but I know it can happen. Did they exclude that?

What did your vet advise? It's possible the dog could have been injured or abused at the kennel, or gotten into a fight with another dog. If she's acting okay now, just keep a close eye on her. If she shows symptoms again, get her back to the vet and see if they can find the cause, and possibly, the cure. Good luck. I know how worrisome one can get over a beloved cat or dog. I get paranoid whenever my cat acts weird, because she's 16 and that's about 75 in human years. but she usually bounces back the next day.
