Does anyone have any good ideas for a dessert using apples that does not use milk, maybe a good crisp recipe or something? Thanks!

APPLE CRISP DESSERT

6 sliced, pared apples
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 unbeaten egg
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted & cooled butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cover the bottom of a greased 6 x 10 inch baking dish with apples. Combine flour, baking powder, egg, sugar and salt. Blend with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Pour melted butter over crumbs; sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with ice cream. Serves 8.

Saute the apples with some sugar and cinnamon in olive oil. Add some sugar and maybe some nuts if you like.
Get some phyllo dough and wrap some apples in the phyllo dough, secure with a little bit of water or olive oil.
They should be about the size and shape of a cigar.
Sprinkle with some brown sugar and toss into a 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes.

I've done this with bananas and walnuts before for a guest who was lactose intolerant.

I don't know if you were looking for more of an individual dessert or something that's scooped out of a pan. Anyway, it's pretty yummy regardless.

Peel, core and slice the apples. Toss in a bit of lemon.

Steam them in a bowl w/ a drop of water and covered in plastic in the microwave for 1 minute.

Toss with cinnamon, a pinch of brown sugar or maple syrup.

Place in a baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam.

Mix a package of apple cinnamon oatmeal with 1/4 cup water and top the apple mixture.

Run under the broiler for a few moments to crispen the topping.

A nice baked apple would be good too. Just put brown sugar and raisins inside the apple and cook.
