God uses our pain and we can minister to others more effectively because of it. That's the truth. People cannot receive from people who have never been hurt or in pain it's just the way it is. That's one way God turns things out for Good. Another is that when Bad things happen it will often drive us closer to God .....to prayer, to church. sad but true.

There are going to be many things that will happen to you of which, though you do your best, you're not going to be able to understand it or figure it out. And when you come against that which you can't understand, it is important that you have certain foundations that you do understand and you fall back on the foundations. What do I understand? I understand that God loves me. I understand that God is wiser than I am. I understand that God is in control of all of the circumstances that surround my life. Thus, anything that happens to me only happens to me because God has allowed it to happen to me. It could not happen to me unless God did allow it to happen to me, and God loves me and is working out what is best for me. Because of this, I can rest in the most uncomfortable places. I rest in faith that God is even going to use this for my good and His ultimate purpose.

In sickness and sorrow and pain, he uses that to let us know that good will come out of that and in the worse of all circumstances that we think we can never come out of, we know that he is there and will turn it into good for us

sometimes our lives bring on more than we can cope with in our own strength - and we then are reminded that we don't have to struggle on alone because we are never alone in Jesus
