Please if you are still an Atheist DO NOT answer. I do not need a flood of emails from angry Atheists about my question.
This is for any Christians who used to be an Atheist or Hardcore Atheist that just could not ignore God.
Please tell the process you went through, research, emotanially, ect and tell me how your life is now compaired to how it was before you accepted Jesus in your life?

I had a difficult childhood, the only time I heard the words God or Jesus were used with swear words. Abuse. Divorce. Poverty. I had decided at a very young age there could not be a God bc he would not have made me go through all that I went through. Then college came. I went to a small Christian college only bc it was a good school and it was the closest to my home. Part of the curriculum included Old Testament Bible class and New Testament Bible class. I was surrounded by Christians. Slowly the walls came down, and I became a Christian. We found a church and I was baptised. Getting saved is the best decision you can ever make! Looking back I realize God does allow bad things to happen but he has his reasons and I feel I am a strong person because of what I had been through.

I'm going to give you the copy/paste from my profile, written only today. It explains everything, and I wrote it because I've been flooded with mail for the last 2 days, ever since my *outing.*

I'm too new at this to really have an answer as to how things have changed for me, except for a feeling of peace. I would liken it to a feeling of having come home.

About me: By now, most of you have learned the news about my *outing,* and I don't think there are more than a dozen of you that I haven't heard from, lol.

The two questions everyone is asking are: Is it true that you are a Christian? How did this happen?

Yes, as of Sept. 25, it's true. How it happened is a little more complicated, but I'll try to be brief.

For 32 years I demanded proof of God's existence. I asked for signs and wonders, all of which were delivered. But for 32 years, I shut my eyes, refusing to see.

A series of events that spanned years could finally be ignored no longer. There were answered prayers, small miracles, life-saving events, and uncanny occurances. On their own, they were nothing more than coincidence. Put together, they formed a picture more wonderous than ever I could have imagined.

I'm still the same person, my morals and values haven't changed. I continue to stand for the same things, except I no longer believe that I stand alone.

I'm not Christian, and I'm not atheist either, athough I used to be an atheist.

Some Christians used to be mad at God (they call that being an Atheist).

A true Atheist would never go back to believing fairy tales
