Don't like a stone or those perforated pans so I'm thinking about a cast iron Pizza pan.
Have you tried one? And do you have to preheat the pan before you put the uncooked pizza into it?...Remember, I'm talking about cast iron pizza pans only.

Excellent choice, I have several, you do not have to preheat your pan, do not bake in an oven over 475 degrees. Cast Iron transmits heat very well so if you choose to use it for other then pizza on your stove top do not use high heat, low to medium will work just fine. Here's a little tip, please remember this pan will be heavy, heavier with product on it, when you remove it from the oven make sure you have THICK hot pads when removing it, not a towel, I speak from experience, that puppy will be like picking up the hot side of a steam iron with a mitten on. You'll be happy with your purchase, Enjoy.
