Your cats growl at you because they are jealous of all the attention you are lavishing on the new kitten. When you get a new kitten it is important to spend MORE time playing with, petting, grooming your own cats than spending time with the new kitten. She(the kitten) needs time with you too but it should be out of sight of the older cats for now.
When introducing a new kitten it is it should be done slowly and following a proven integration process if you want them to have the best chances of getting along and being good friends.
So many people have these kinds of problems. Here are a couple articles for you to read. This will answer your questions and explain what to do:

I cant honestly give you any tips or tricks, but I can offer you something you might find helpful, because I, the great answerer that I am, always try and give any question I read an answer that will at least help, so lets use my REALITY CHECK style of answering to help you solve your issue! Okay so check the facts 1) Old cat 2) kitten coming to family 3) want to help adjust Well the way i look at it setting up scents and etc is a pretty good idea, but remember animals like humans have emotions, and dont feel comfortable around the new so easily, kind of like little kids, sometimes its just a question of time, or if your old cat will accept the new cat. Its not fair to expect them to get along perfect right away especially since you cant explain it to them like you can explain a bit to a young child. Just remember to still keep your old cat in the loop, pet him, and remind him he is just as important. It can be hard if they get off to a bad start but yeah. Thats all i can offer im sorry to say but good luck

Cats happen to be very jealous. So if it is a new kitten but not from their litter they'll most likely get jealous and hiss at you. Because you have the scent on you as well and they aren't used to it. If it is from their litter they are probably very over protective or something. Just continue so they can get used to it but don't let the hiss at you constantly. You have punish them. But not like abusive! Just say "No" and correct them. And if you can, just grab the cat and put it slightly near the kitten but don't let it hurt the kitten! But try that and it'll soon become better.

Cats can be jealous, especially the ones who have lived in your home and were king of the road until the interloper appeared. Now that you pay more attention to the newcomer, your cats are displaying jealousy. Try and give them a little extra love, attention and a treat, and they'll get used to the little kitten, and start playing with her themselves.

Very simple! Because you have the scent of the new kitten on your hands and clothing after you've played with him/her.
Just keep doing it. The more your cat gets used to the scent of the new kitten, the faster she'll get over the normal introductory hissing fits. If you can give her something the new kitten just slept on that has his scent on it, that will also help her get used to it.

Your other cats are jealous of the kitten. Did you introduce them properly?? Hold your older cats and pet/love them while the kitten checks you out. This way your older cats wont feel so territorial if they have your attention.

Because the cat just saw you holding THAT cat instead of him/her, so it's jealous and angry at you. And the proper way to introduce cats is to put the new cat in a cage and let the other cats sniff it while it's in the cage. And no harm will be done to either cat.

I don't think cats get jealous like dogs do.
They are territorial. Every time your cat nudges your leg, she is marking her territory. You are territory.
And now the cat is faced with defending its territory against an interloper. And the scent of the interloper.
Sounds less romantic than jealousy. But cats aren't very romantic, anyway.

They are probably jealous because your always playing with the new kitten. You might want to love them more and give them more attention. If it keeps up, you could go to a vet...
Good Luck!

Maybe she is jealous. Pay the other cat lots of attention and let her know she is loved.
