No, but there have been many discoveries in science that put me in greater awe of God. As creator of the universe, he also created all of the scientific laws. Ever look at it that way?

I agree with Ginger.

If science could prove that the universe always existed - forever and ever - with no origin and no creator - that would alter if not destroy my belief in GOD - since alot of my belief hinges on the fact that I can't explain creation without GOD in the equation somewhere!

Good question.

A few months back I attached a hubble space telescope video clip that talked about and showed the deep space shot that showed the hundreds of billions of Galaxies in the universe. (yes, I said Galaxies, not stars), and asked what the theists thought about that.

As is predictable, it just made them admire how wonderful god was. Same answer just this week when I asked the theists about what they thought about an article that reported on finding 37,000 new life forms that live around thermal vents in the ocean. Wow- god is even more amazing than I had thought.

Come on, those guys were somehow able to maintain their beliefs even after such momentous facts were discovered like the world being spherical, the world being just one tiny insignificant speck of dirt in an unimaginably vast universe, that we humans are in fact animals...the list goes on, but the point is that those guys can just keep on believing in the face of indisputable evidence. Why? Because some people, in fact, most people prefer to live their lives focusing on what they hope is true instead of confronting what they know is true.

Actually, there is -- just one.

Find the actual bones of Jesus (the one-and-only Jesus of the Bible), and prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they are His actual bones, and not somebody else's.

The very existence of the Christian faith hinges upon one particular event in time-space dimension history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His resurrection is the most well-attested event in all of history -- but, hypothtetically at least, if you could disprove the resurrection, Christianity would dissolve tomorrow.

"If Christ is not raised, brethren, then we among all men are the most miserable." -- The apostle Paul.

Want Christianity to go away? Simple! Produce the (authentic) body of Jesus Christ!

NOPE, way to impossible. Allah is The Master of Creation and The Master Destroyer. SORRY your belief in Allah can only be destroyed if you possess no Faith.
Allah is Science.

My dear friend,
NOTHING on this earth will ever destory My belief in my heavenly Father, God. His Love and mercy that he has given to me is something that i will never lose. I will either go to my grave (not only believing but knowing that God is real) or be in the midst of the saints who assend up to heaven with Jesus when he returns to take us home. which ever comes first. Thanks for asking though:)

Probably space travel using wormholes would do it.

Of course, Religion might persist into those times so that God gets renamed to Galactic Spirit or something along these lines.

No...because it will never happen. Science is the study to understand the natural and physical world. God is super natural and is not of our world.
