i think he is a man who does love God, but has led thousands to believe in a false sense of salvation.... something which he will have to stand before God & answer for.
he, himself, being saved by the sinner's prayer (specifically he was converted in 1936 at a "billy sunday-style crusade)
.... which is NOT biblical.
NOWHERE in church history was such a belief of conversion through the sinner's prayer recorded.
for all the scripture Billy Graham used, he NEVER 1CE used the rebirth formula the apostles used in the 2nd chapter of the book of Acts. this biblical ERROR kept him away from the most powerful conversion event in all of church history.
i do not raise him above the standards of the common man & i have a difficult time understanding why so many people put him on the pedastal of which you speak.

As to his lies he was contributeing to a political party when they receive a tax free basis for being a religon and seperate from religion. When they and everyone knows they support the Republican Party and preach as such.
They can lie about it but the truth remains. They are knee deep in politics and receive a religous tax free statis.
They support big business and religon and them are big business. They are rich millionairs and do very little good with that money. They build churches and hospitals and colleges but they are none of them free. They are money making ventures. Let's fact it they rip people off.

Billy Graham did not believe what he preached. He admitted it to an acquaintance in Nashville many years ago. He said if he preached the truth, no one would come to hear him.
He cared more about the crowds and the money than the truth.
I am a Christian that studies and tries to live by the Bible. I am not one in name only, but can defend what I believe using the Bible. Most here can't.

He is a sinner just like the rest of us. He can and has made mistakes and thank God he is big enough to forgive him of anything. He is a Mighty Man Of God who has been able to bring a innumerable amount of unbelievers into the kingdom of God. He is fulfilling the commandment that we are all called to do. He preaches straight from the bible and that is good enough for me. When I see him in Heaven I will ask him what he thinks of himself for ya.

Billy Graham at his OWN Library Dedication said:
"It Was NEVER About ME" ! ! !
If That Was True then Why did ONE of the U.S. Presidents Hold a LONGTIME Grudge(AGAINST BILLY gaHAM) Because Billy made a HAM OF HIMSELF at the Presidents Get Together !

Billy Graham is a very sincere, honest and open man. That is why many world leaders speak to him.
They don't always listen or take his advice. If they did there would be a lot less trouble in the world today.

Never met him, but like his style. He's not a phony and has counselled presidents during tough times like war. He's not second to God literally, but a minister is quite a comfort with duties like a President has. Mr. Graham has some good stories to tell, Reader's Digest, I think. Good luck.

I think he is a false teacher, he basically believes the same as Pope John Paul II did, "that a religions are worshiping the same god;" that is simply not true.
