Christians, why do you thik Jesus is God?

Question

Considering there are so many prophets that have come "already like David, Lot, Moses etc what makes Jesus special. Isn't it logical to conclude that Jesus was also of the same rank.

O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary IS ONLY A MESSENGER of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Mary and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His messengers, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one Allah; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

And why do you think Jesus will free you from your sins? Just imagine for a moment this is not the case. What answer will you give to Allah on the Day of Judgement.(when you stand in front of Allah and Jesus is nowhere to be seen)?Wouldn't you be caught unawares???

Jesus, while arguing with the scribes, makes an interesting statement about Himself and Abraham:

Jesus answered them: "I solemnly declare it: before Abraham came to be, I AM." At that they picked up rocks to throw at Jesus... [John 8:58-59; NAB]

Jesus claims to have existed also before Abraham - something impossible for a mere human. Moreover the statement sounds grammatically awkward due to tense disagreement. It would sound better if He had said "I WAS" instead of "I AM." The present tense implies Christ's eternal existence as God.

Jesus Christ is the Image of God. God's image who is Jesus Christ. God is the soul entity, Jesus Christ is the Image of God, and the Holy Spirit is resurrected Jesus Christ. One can not have a spirit unless the were born here on earth, lived life, and died. The spirit is what the fruits of our life hold. The Holy Spirit is the spirit that Jesus Christ left people when He died on the cross. When people follow the teachings of Christ Jesus it is that they are doing it through the Holy Spirit.

When you look at the Image of God, you are looking at God direct.

Because the Bible says He is God in the old and new testament. And because He changed my life completely . And because the bible say not to believe things that are contrary to the doctrine the Bible teaches, even if an angel from heaven gave you the contrary doctrine.

if i follow the message that jesus taght me then what do i have to worry about? I mean everyone says that if you dont believe, then your condemmed, but how could god just turn his back on an innocent conveyer of mercy?
