Who, or what are Jinn? The Qur'an speaks of Jinn. What are they made of? Can we see them? If not, then why not? Are there other creatures which exist that we can't see?
Please be direct and give as much information as you can.

The Jinn are made of smokeless fire. Like all other beings, Jinn are creatures of Allah. We can't see them, because they are part of the unseen. Only Allah knows how they look. Angels are other creatures that we can't see.

There are many verses from the Qur'an about Jinn, and many Hadiths from Prophet Muhammad about Jinn. There are evil Jinn and good Jinn. Jinn could travel huge distances in the matter of seconds.

Evil Jinn are commanded by Iblis, the first evil Jinn to exist. Evil Jinn whisper to mankind and encourage them to do sins. It is up to the person to realize this, and avoid them as much as he or she could.

Jinn are in many ways like humans, yet are so different, living in the unseen world with Angels. There are limitless Jinn, and they could reproduce and they do have families, and they do eat like us humans.

Prophet Sulaiman commanded the Jinn, as it was one of several miracles that Allah blessed onto him. The Jinn didn't know Prophet Sulaiman had died until termites started eating his wooden crane.

Once the wooden crane was partially eaten at the bottom, prophet Sulaiman knelt over to his side, and it was only then that it was known that he was dead. But the Jinn didn't notice until then.

Allah described the Jinn to us, but very few people have seen Jinn. If a human is bad, the Jinn could easily possess them, and there are such things as humans being possessed.

Evil Jinn could appear to us in human form. Prophet Muhammad encountered Iblis while he went to the mosque and was about to kill him, but then Allah revealed to him that if Iblis was killed, the Day of Judgement would arrive, and so prophet Muhammad decided against killing him.

The jinn are creatures made by Allah a long time before human beings, we know about them because they were mentioned in the Qur'an.

They were created to worship Allah same like the angels (Al Malaa'ika) and the human beings.

Jinn were created from fire, while angels were made from light and the human beings were made from clay.

Jinn are living in different world we cannot see them neither they can do.

Also we cannot see the angels but Angels can see us and some of the angels are the observers of humans performance and worship.

In old times some people use to tell imaginary stories about jinn for many reasons mainly due to ignorence and to cheat on naive persons.

The Satan was one of the jinn and his name was Iblis, but when Allah created Adam the Satan refused to obey Allah to show respect to Adam, so the Satan was cursed by Allah and spelled from heaven, and the reason that Allah delayed the Satan till the day of judgment, is to test the faith of Muslims and who will resist the tempts of the Satan and who will fall in sin

Following is a link that will access you to the translation of the Qur'an's meanings, you can read the translation of any Surah or verse in the Qur'an and I have selected the translation of the jinn Surah:

As salamu alaikum to the Muslims and Hello Everyone else,
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem (In the Name of Allah Most Gracious , Most Merciful)

The jinn mentioned in the Holy Quran are certainly not the genii of fairy tales or what people usually imagine them to be. This word indicates "something hidden from view", and is used in the Quran with several different meanings referring to people or beings who are remote and not seen.

Book - "The World of the Jinn and Devils", p. 7
Ibn Abdul Barr said, "The jinn, according to the scholars of the language, are of different types:

If one is mentioning the jinn purely of themselves, the are called jinni.*

If one is mentioning the jinn that live among mankind, they are called aamar whose plural is amaar.

If one is mentioning the ones that antagonize the young, they are called arwaah.

If one is mentioning the evil ones that antagonize humans they are called shaitan for the singular [and shayateen for plural].

If they cause even more harm and become strong, they are called afreet."**
The jinn are NOT fallen angels. They were created from a smokeless flame of fire. The first recorded jinn to be disobedient is Iblis. Disbelieving, disobedient jinn and humans are known as shayateen (satans).

Well in general we can not see the jinns, unless they make themselves visible to human kind. I have not read any reason as to why we can/cannot see the jinn. And I do not know whether or not there are other creatures that we can not see and Allah Knows Best.

Jinn is a creature who is created by Allah from fire.Jinns live in this universe but we can not see them. They get married and have children. like humans because they have lusts or desires.Qur'an speaks of jinn but not so much.Someone who are nearer to Allah can see Jinn but they are very rare.My religion teacher Ustadz Khamidy could see Jinn. There are good and muslim Jinns who do not want to disturb humans.
.There are also bad Jinns who are welknown called satans or iblises.Iblis tempted Adam and Eve in Eden for taking a fruit on a tree..These Jinns will always try hard to tempt humans for making bad doings..Allah permitted them do not die until Kiamat or the collapse of this universe.
There are other creatures who could not be seen by our eyes e.g angels.Angels were created by Allah from light. They have no lusts or desires. They are the loyal creatures to Allah .The welknown angel is Gabriel(Jibril) who assisted Allah for delivering holy book to prophets and messengers of
Allah and assisted Allah for other communication too.

Each person has their own Jinn and one's actions and good or bad deeds reflect on whether their Jinn is good or bad. This is why when one enters the restroom, one should always say "in a3ooth bika min al khobth wa al khabaaith" and when one gets dress, undressed, or before one eats or drinks, one should always say "Bism Allah" or "A3oozo billallah min shaytan" we cannot see the Jinn. There are Jinn living with us.. one's eeman and stregnth in faith should make a Muslim not fear such creatures.. but fear only the Almighty Allah swt..
You should take info from scholars or imams only (I am not a reliable source myself).. and Allah is All-Knowing.
Salam Alaykoum

[15:27] As for the jinns, we created them, before that, from blazing fire.

[51:56] I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.

[55:14] He created the human from aged clay, like the potter's clay.

[55:15] And created the jinns from blazing fire.

the ‘Jinns’ are amongst the ‘unseen’, and whatever is amongst the ‘unseen’, its exact nature is known to none save Allah Subhanah, the Creator of everything in existence. The only knowledge one has of the ‘unseen’ in Truth can only be what has been made known to man by their Lord through His Message and His Messenger (saws); and everything other than these two Divine Sources of Knowledge has to be nothing but guess-works and conjecture.

Other than the Human and the Jinn race, the Lord Creator mentions the creation and existence in Truth of the noble and obedient Angels in His Glorious Qruan, who unlike the human beings and Jinns do not possess a ‘free-will’, nor are they involved in a test, nor will they be punished or rewarded in the Hereafter.
Sahih Muslim HadithH 7134 Narrated by Aisha
Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘The Angels were created out of ‘noor’ (light), and the Jinns were created out of the flame of fire, and Adam was created as he has been defined (in the Qur'an) for you (i.e. he is fashioned out of clay).’

That which of course distinguishes the Jinn from mankind, are their powers and expertise. Allah has given them those powers as a try for them. in the event that they oppress others with them, then they are going to be held to blame. by skill of understanding of their powers, we can commonly make sense of lots of the mysteries which bypass on around us. between the powers of the Jinn, is they are waiting to handle any actual variety they prefer. subsequently, they'd seem as people, animals bushes and something. over the final few years the interest in the placement of extraterrestrial beings and alien deliver's has grow to be heightened. Programmes such because of the fact the X-records and the Outer limits have bigger the attractiveness of the thought extraterrestrial beings exist. hundreds of people have sighted unusual finding creatures around the globe. those sightings however, have nonetheless not shown considerably that extraterrestrial beings exist. particularly - and it form of feels greater attainable each and every of the sightings of such creatures have been in basic terms Jinns parading in diverse types. So the subsequent time you spot something that sounds like E.T, its maximum probable in basic terms a depraved Jinn attempting to scare and confuse you!

Jinn are servants of ALLAH(SWT) like humans. Whereas humans are made from clay Jinn are made of smokless fire. Jinn can see us and live with us but we can't see them. Jinn can also have families, and get married like humans. On the Day of Ressurection and in Jinnah for those lucky to get there we will be able to see the Jinn but they won't be able to see us. So it will be the opposite of what it is on Earth. Bad Jinn can possess you. Only an Imam who is strong in Islam can kill Jinn. There are Muslim Jinn and non Muslim Jinn. Prophet Solomon(PBUH*) was able to speak to and see Jinn and Jinn were commanded by him. That was one of the miracles granted to Prophet Solomon(PBUH*) from ALLAH(SWT). Animals and birds can see Jinn and Angels. That is why the rooster crows and the dogs bark because they see the Jinn, Angels who come down on Earth to record our thoughts and good deeds and bad deeds. Animals and birds can also see the Devil.

Jinn=Jinnie Genie is the usual English translation of the Arabic term jinni, but it is not directly an Anglicized form of the Arabic word, as is commonly thought. The English word comes from French génie, which meant a spirit of any kind, which in turn came from Latin genius, which meant a sort of tutelary or guardian spirit thought to be assigned to each person at birth. The Latin word predates the Arabic word jinni in this context, and may have been introduced in the Arabian civilization through the Nabataeans. The root however, and its concept of being "hidden" or "concealed" still comes from the Semitic root "GNN", which is originally from Paleo-Hebrew, and from which the Greek word Genesis and the Arabic Jannah (garden or paradise) is derived.

Arabic lexicons, such as Taj-il Uroos, and William Lane's lexicon provide the rendered meaning of Jinn not only for spirits, but also for anything concealed through time, status and even physical darkness.
