Everybody is missing the question. The question is can someone jump from a plane and land on their feet. Of course they could. Even if the plane was flying and the jumper didn't have a parachute.
Of course surviving the landing is a totally different question ;-)

Say I jumped out of a plane and tried to land on my feet. Would you be dead, Yes. you fall a rat of about 125mph

Jumping out of a 747 might be painful, I'd jump out of a cessna. But make sure its on the ground first.

you could if you had a parachute,if you didn't the impact would shatter all the bones in your legs and many other bones.You would die.
I remember seeing a programme about a girl who fell from 2000feet and survived.This was due to her body weight and landing on her belly,it displaced the impact to all around her body.All this helped but they still can't understand how she survived.

if you had a parachute you would but if you would not have one and you jump out as soon as you hit the ground your going to be dead and your bones might go through your head and why did you ask a question like that if you don't have a parachute you know your going to be dead

Yes, but your ankles would be up around your ears and you would be 4 inches tall unless of course you have a parachute.

No reason why not, I see it all the time at Red Hills Airport by the skydivers.
Best wear a chute, though, or you will have to unlace your shoes to blow your nose.

i doubt it very much that you would survive, on your feet or not. if you had a parachute, yes you would be able to, it happens all the time, sky divers do it.
