No. I actually kind of feel bad for them because they stare with such intense longing for my food. They even drool.
What I do find annoying is when my lab attempts to put his head under my arm and on the table while I eat. He thinks he is being clever....we're still working on that behavior.

I think it's annoying if anyone watches me eat. That's a refueling of the body time. Best try keeping your dog busy during your eating time or just put him up somewhere

I have a 6 month american pitbull terrier rozko. We are working on this behavior. Hes crate trained so when I have a plate or im about to eat i tell him get in his cage, I leave the door open, he is doing great, sometimes he will get out and eat his own food, and go back in his crate.Other times he tries to sneak over to me and beg, he goes back in the crate with the door closed. Each time i get done eatting and he stays in his bed(crate) i give him a treat. So if your dogs are crate trained try it seems to be working for me.

Not nearly as annoying as when the dog pushes it's way into the bedroom while I'm doing something other than eating dinner..

I think it is sooo annoying when dogs sit there and beg for food when they get feed very well. I think if you start giving them people food than that is how they start watching you eat... My dog sits right by me almost everytime i eat...lol.

YES!!!!!!!!! IT IS SO ANNOYING! LOL
They stare and drool, and I have 2 big labs, so it's really not that cute when there's piles of drool dripping from each side of thier mouths, and my chocolate male grunts when I'm eating too, almost as to say "Give Jack the food" "Give Jack the food" I think he may be trying to hypnotize me. lol

She's learnt not to watch, she just lays by the dinner table. It did annoy me in the past when she would whine and paw at our legs.

Yes! I cannot stand it. You know they are just sitting there hoping a piece drops on the ground, or waiting for you to give them a piece. I do not feed my dog table scraps...

Yes, I don't like it at all. Then, if you get up to fill your glass with water, they hop up on your chair, onto the table and finish off your plate. Later, they have the audacity to heave up because their tummies can't handle people food.

I do-----
I tried to teach them not to beg in that way! Then my children kept feeding them when I wasn't looking! So now I make them sit and stare at her as she eats!!!!
