alright, i'll try to summarize this briefly.
last year (and this year) i really liked this guy. he's a year older than me (a junior in high school) and since it was tradition to ask an upperclassmen to our dance, i asked him. he couldn't go (but he had a valid reason!!) and after the dance he actually apologized for not going w/ me and asked me if i asked someone else. so last year i was really shy, always doing stupid things around him.
but this year, i personally have grown much prettier (a lot say i look like vanessa hudgens) and a couple days ago we were both in the same club and i made him laugh a lot. we were so comfortable around each other!! do you think i have a chance?? even though i asked him to the dance and all?? i mean, we def are comfortable around each other, but will that be enough? since he's a year older and all??

I'm not a guy, but from everything you gave, it sounds like he's probably just **waiting** for that dance-thing to come back around, hoping you will ask him again, so he can say "YES".

Usually guys don't have a problem with younger girls. If you like him, ask him if he'd like to hang out and go to the movies or something else where it's just the two of you. No need to call it a date, just the two of you enjoying some time together.
If he likes you too, then he'll definitely make it clear by the time you two are finished with your "date."

I think you have a good chance, if you two feel comfortable around each other and you like being with each other I don't see why you couldn't work out.

OK, sounds like he dos like you and you guys do have a chance together. But you should probably just start of being friends first that way if he did like you, you would know stuff like what he likes and stuff like that. But it dos sound like he likes you but don't blow it.

Guys don't care about a little age difference!
Just flirt with him a bit, smile when you see him... guys frequently need to feel that if they approach you, they won't get turned down... this is what holds them back.
