If you work 25/hours per week, then your take-home is about $700 per month. That's just about what you'll have to pay for car if they give you a 5-year loan. You can buy the car, but you can't afford the insurance, gas and repairs. You also can't afford school books nor any social life. I think its a no.

I'm agree with mostly everyone else that there's no way you'd be able to afford it. The car note will probably be outrageous, and you being a 21 yo male......I find VERY unbelieavable that you could get insurance for $80 a month (might be possible if you only had liab. which I would not recommend for this new of a car). If you finance the car (which looks to be the case here), you are REQUIRED to carry full coverage, and considering the type of car you are thinking about purchasing, I would guess about $200-$300/month. This high of an amount stems from your age, type of car, type of coverage, deductible amounts, and where you live. It might also be more if you have bad credit.
Just like someone else said, you would have NO LIFE because you'd be investing all your money in your car! Then, if it breaks down, you'd probably be "up a creek without a paddle," as the saying goes.

First of all, you don't suck at life. It seems as if you have a lot of stuff going for you. You're in college, you're headed in the right direction, so you're doing fine at life. It's the girl part you suck at. You missed a prime opportunity to hit it off with the girl you went out on a date with. When she asked if you were gay it was the time you should've told her that you're just shy, you're not great at dating, and that you really enjoyed being with her. She might have given you another chance! So, now you know what to do next time. It's easier when a guy will just tell you he's nervous or shy, the girl will probably be more receptive and willing to put you at ease. Just keep at it and relax. Don't let it kill your ego, it's going to pass. You're going to meet a great girl and she's going to be just as nervous as you are! And screw your sister. She's just being a jerk. Trust me, I used to do that to my little brother, too, and now I feel terrible about it and I've apologized. He's now engaged and is getting married at the end of August. Good luck and keep your chin up!

Why would you want to spend all your money on that? You may be able to swing it, but you wont have money for fun stuff, and if it breaks down, its super expensive!!
Try this:
Go buy a used corolla or a civic. you can get one for 7-11k and it will go forever with no problems. Save up as much as you can and pay as much in cash as you can. Say you buy an 8k car for cash, your insurance will be like $80 a month and your gas will be cheap as it gets too!! then you have all that money to spend on clothes, drinks, parties, clubs, you name it you can do it!!
OR
You can finance a $25k beemer, have to pay $500 a month for the car, FULL COVERAGE insurance (because it isnt paid off), more in gas, more in repairs....
So what do you want? a decent looking car and a great social life? or a cool car and NO LIFE... not to mention the car wouldnt be in your name, and you would be paying TONS in interest?

Maybe not now. You also need to pay college tuition and that other stuff if you do pay. If you are serious about it then I suggest go getting another part time job.

Ok, 10 an hour, 40 hours a week, about 1200 after taxes... no idea how much insurance is... let's say you can put aside 600 towards your car... let's say it's $16K for year 2001 - 2003 330 model... Yes you can!
