...the person who lives in peaceful harmony with all of God's creations but not a follower of Christ, or the Christian who goes to church on Sunday, tithes, and helps in food drives, but has affairs, steps on people to get to the top, overindulges and abuses his children? Or how about the Priest who molests children? Who will God be harder on?

FYI, "God loves you"...I do not sit in judgement of anybody, I was just asking a question I was curious about. My heart is just fine, as is my relationship with God. =)

So what you're saying is....
You can be the biggest assh*le on earth! You can pillage cities and rape children! You can cause international hysteria!! You can destroy the world and all of its inhabitants!!!!
But if you believe in a god, your soul will be saved and you will live the rest of your days in eternal paradise....... SOUNDS LIKE BULLSH*T TO ME!!!!
No, I think those who lead good lives and help whenever the oppurtunity arises will go to Heaven, whether or not they believe in god. If god is perfect, I don't he needs to people to worship him in order for him to feel good about himself. Sounds more like an egotistical bi-atch.
btw, iamsaved34? You do know most of Christianity is just ripped off of other religions right?
Image of God (old, but powerful man)= Zeus
Rebirth, Resurrection, etc. = more or less Reincarnation. = Buddhism.
Easter is originally a pagan holiday, celebrating fertility. Why do you think its in the spring time, and the main symbol of Easter is the Easter Bunny, who hides eggs in bushes? Due to the rise of Christianity, it was erased by most and in its place was put the resurrection of Jesus.

Only God can answer this question. Judge not and you will not be judged. God can change someone's beliefs in the blink of an eye. But basically, a person who goes to Church, tithes, helps at food drives, and has affair and abuses his children, and molests others' children is not living according to the laws of God and is a hypocrite.

Cathy M.... There's some subtle maneuvering there within your question......the False Prophet and Anti Christ will be the epitome of your first description....plus, there are many here on this earth that wear a mask and do good works to hide their true selves and hidden agenda's...
LOL Mankind doesn't do too well in judging the hearts and spirits of their fellow man...let's let God do that. :)
As for the other 2....that also is something between man and God....but....in my opinion, the Priest will have the worse judgement because he claims to be a servant of God that had had a "calling" to be so.

Well, the few (and statistically speaking FEW) supposed "Christians" that you are speaking of who are hiding behind Christianity to offset their wickedness will be judged, as well as the peace-seekers who do not follow Christ. It doesn't matter how hard you try to do good, the Bible says "there is no way to the Father except through the Son". It doesn't say "or Allah, Buddha, Zeus, etc.", or any other false God. One God created the earth, one God sent His son to save us, and one God will save His people from death. The demons will scream at this, but its the truth. Satan's evil work has always been done under the mask of falsely religious people. And as a Christian I'm not saying I'm perfect, but God sees our souls, not our works, unlike ourselves who only know how to judge by what we see.

Every one born on this earth is a sinner deserving hell . Once one becomes " Born Again " his sins are erased . The born again person will be chastised by God for doing what you mentioned But , he will be able to get into heaven . One must hear the word of God Romans 10:17 to have a chance to get to heaven but must be born again John 3:3 to see the kingdom of God . The other people sins will be judged some more severe than others By God and he will sentence them to hell .

Are the group of people REALLY Christians? Or do they go to church on the weekends? Going to church on the weekends doesn't MAKE you a Christian. Saying you are a Christian doesn't MAKE you a Christian either. If one doesn't REALLY have a heart that has repented, then they can not be forgiven. In that case, they are in the same boat.
To further answer your question, the Bible says:
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Cathy,
person number one, will be given the wages of his sin, the degree of punishment will be according to his work.
the christian will lose everything (if really a christian) but will be saved as one who passes through fire I Cor 3. but a real christian does not sleep around, abuse his kids and such. But if he is real, it will cost him everything.
the priest, he is not a christian, he like man number one will dies spiritually.
of the first and last, only the latter will be punished more severely as he was exposed to biblical teaching and ignored it. (jesus' words, not mine)
as for the christian, he will be pretty much at the bottom of those in eternity.
The greatest will be the servant of all.

The person who will have it the hardest, dear one, is he who is without Christ in his heart. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. NO man comes to the Father but by Me."
That is the ONLY way a person can get past the White Throne Judgment.
I hope you have Jesus!

the one who is not a follower of Christ although he has heard of him he does not think he needs him therefore he will be the worst hypocrite. Scripture even says whoa to the man that stands in the Temple and says "I thank you Lord that I am not like those other sinners" but the one who is on his knees beating his breast that says "Lord have mercy on me, a sinner" is the one that will be called righteous. The Cross will claim them both but, the one who depends on Jesus will have his sinfulness nailed to the Cross, and he will then go free and the other will take his sinfulness into hell with him.

All of those you named for none of those are true Christians.
You must be a believer in Christ.
If you are a believer in Christ the Holy Spirit lives within you.
If the Holy Spirit lives within you He witnesses to your spirit to recognize sin.
If you can continually commit sin without remorse toward God, you are not a true Christian.
