The Miracle of the Sun, occurred on October 13, 1917 and was said to have been witnessed by 30 to 40 thousand people. It happened in Corva de Iria near Fatima Portugal. IT became cloudy and began to rain in a sudden downpour, so much so that people outside were drenched. Then the sun appeared with shards of light going out in several directions much like a rainbow, but not curving toward the earth. The sun was not quite as bright and then began a zig zag motion heading toward the earth. The people who saw it thought it was the end of the world. The sun, though not so very hot, dried out the clothes of those who were outside.

Explain it, I cannot. I know God is in control of the elements and obviously He was trying to tell us something. There were various interpretations of this event, none very compelling.

I would say yes, this was indeed a miracle.

The Blessed Virgin Mary was appearing to three children there,no one believed so Mary did a miracle and made it appear as if the sun was spinning and coming down to earth.
I am a believer,I seen Mary at a hospital in Milton mass.,also
something very similar happened in the biblical account of Joshua he was in battle and the sun was setting, unable to fight in the dark He prayed and God let the sun stay bright as daytime.
