I beilive in G♥D with all my heart and I love the Bible.
But not that much. These people are constantly coming to my door and talking about going to this church. When I politley say I'm not intersted, The just explode like I did something wrong! Like they say, "But if you don't go to church you'll never find God and you'll go to Hell!" I said, "I own a Bible and I read it almost every day, What point does it make to go to some place to do the same thing?" Then they just tell me about how God will distory all the non beleivers someday and If I don't go to Church, I will be one of them. I asked them to please get off of my property. They just said, "But you'll never find GOD!!!" And left.
Then they came again talking about me starting to be a Jehova God Witness. I said I don't want to. But they just kept talking about what I have to do to be a Witness like cut my hair and not celebrate holidays.

(I don't see why I would need to cut my hair. In churches they got pictures of Jesus looking like some singer from a heavy metal band)

If their God is so vengeful that He condemns people to Hell and is more concerned with a person's outer appearance rather than what is on the inside, He's not worth finding.
I believe the path you are following is much better.

Well speaking as one of Jehovah's Witnesses I can tell you absolutely without a shadow of a doubt that not a single one of us would ever tell you that if you don't go to their CHURCH you'll go to hell. One of the very first things you learn if you study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses is that hell as most believe it to be does not exist. It is simply man's common grave. Feel free to go to www.watchtower.org and look up hell. Read what it says.
In fact, if you ask another question here and simply say, Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe in hellfire, you'll get an overwhelming NO. It's one of the things other denominations point to as "proof" that we are not true christians.
Secondly, we don't EVER coerce anyone to a meeting. God does not force anyone to come to him.
I have a question: Did they say come to their CHURCH? Specifically the word CHURCH? If they did then they were bogus. Jehovah's Witnesses refer to their meeting places as kingdom halls.
If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to email me.
======
Terry: You DO realize that home bible studies are conducted for FREE and that our literature is also available for FREE and that any donations made at the Kingdom Hall are strictly VOLUNTARY?

The bible says to not let these people in your house. If they want to invite you to church, that's okay, but they should be courteous and friendly about it. It is a good idea for you to belong to a bible teaching church. But this is something you should pray about and be led of the Lord. He wants you to have a spiritual family. It is a discipline to give and receive, and to share other people's burdens. God wants to use you to reach our world. Find a church that has a course of study, some evangelism outreach, and a good missions program. There is childrens church and youth groups. We have a men's saturday morning bible study and a tuesday prayer meeting. Churches network with other churches for song festivals and other seasonal activities. It is worth it if you find the church the Lord wants you to be with.

Get a "No Solicitors or Trespassers" sign for your front door. Our city hands them out for free. They're just little signs that you can put up by your doorbell. They're not tacky at all. In fact, you can't see them usually until you're on the person's front porch. I've got one and it works well. Most people who are out selling or distributing something are told to look for those types of signs and leave those houses alone. When I was a Girl Scout troop leader, we told our girls not to ring the doorbells of those houses when they were selling cookies.

If these people are harassing you, file a complaint with the local JW branch. I've heard if you call them and tell them not to send people to your house, they won't. If they don't stop, threaten to call the cops for trespassing. Just make sure you put up a no trespassing sign.

help you? the police should help you. Unless you fear those people could be right and that you may end up in hell if you don't do what they say. I know a lot of people who said you's end up in hell if you didn't submit your free will, like Hitler for example.
So if those crazy people come again, have them arrested and don't worry about God. there is no hell.

Your first mistake was answering the door. Your second was saying anything other than, "Not interested" or "Nevermind" and closing the door again right in their faces.
If people insist on invading your space and taking up your time, sometimes you just have to be rude to them.

You are obviously talking about the selfrightious god botherers. They don`t even read their own book. It states that anyone who claims to be a jew (tribe of Judah) and is not is condemed to eternal hell.
All they want is your money, no matter what lies they fill you with on your doorstep. JUst say goodbye and close the door on them.
