The devil decieved Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, he casts doubts in our mind whenever God is trying to direct us and makes us fail to Listen to God.

The devil is the adversary, we as Christians take blame for our sins and feel responsible for them, that is why we ask God for forgiveness and dont tell God it was the devil.

Remember when the devil tried to trick Jesus Christ, how much more us.

Well God gave us a will we choose to do the right things as instructed to do in the Bible or we let the devil tempt us and we yield.

We yield to temptation, the devil does not force us to sin. We only sin when we take the choice he offered.

Its just something some people take for granted and just like any human nature we try to apportion blame on anyone for our faults, even people of different beliefs also blame the devil for somethings they did, it has nothing ot do with only Christians.

Well you are entitled to your opinions, but rememebr Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and if you believe in Him, and accept Him as your Lord and personal saviour, you will be saved.

excuse my poor english...

it's because according to christianism... we owe the devil all our sins.
the bible says that we were made to god's image, and so were we meant to be perfect... well until the apple...

and from this moment... each time something "evil" would be happening... well christianim would go back to this time with the snake... and would lay all responsibility on him.

to my point of view... it's also a way to reject any responsibility. like... i've been bad/evil but it's because of the evil / of my miserable childhood / of my mum / of society / of my boss / (just add your scapegoat here)

It is convenient for them. It also explains the unfairness of life and allows them to blame something outside themselves for problems and hardships. It also allows them to let the concept of a loving helping God that guides their life off the hook when bad things happen in their life and no evidence of a helping god is anywhere.

Satan is the god of this world, dear one. While He can't make you do something, he most assuredly can tempt you and make you WANT to do it.

While you're busy condemning people who are telling you the truth, take some time to learn to spell. You'll find it easier to get your point across, even when it's incorrect. ;-)

God bless!

Because they are stupid. They believe what they learned as children or in church and they don't have the brain power to question it.

Yep. They are accountable for nothing. Jesus died for their sins! Who could resist such a philosphy? Ohhhh, I forgot the part about eternal torment for those who don't "believe."
