My mom doesn't want me liking a certain type a guy and thats basically all I am attracted too, and I really want to be with this guy that she doesn't want me to go with, what should I do?

Your mom can't restrain you. She can't put you behind bars, and you shouldn't let her. You don't have to put up with her, just tell her straight that you will listen to her, but there are some things that she can't control and that you can't either. If she won't take that from you, then do whatever you can. Go behind her back if you can deal with the guilt, but don't let her make up your mind.
However, and I know I'm contradicting myself, moms usually know best =P. If she's talking the guys that don't treat you right, and are after only one thing [you know what that is 0.o], then she's right. You shouldn't be with those type of guys.
BUT, follow your heart. You're the only one who knows what's right for yourself, and if you get hurt, then you do. And at least once in your life you WILL fall down. Take your mom's advice, and listen to what she says rather than push her words away, but what you do is your own decision.

she probably doesnt want you to see this type of guy cause she knows that he will just break your heart.
