buy a distortion petal. thats what gives it the ripping, monstrous, bad a*s sound, a.k.a.: distortion. oh and goodluck with learning to play homie, ive been playing for 4 years now. what brand of guitar is it?

did you plug it into the amp?
did you plug the amp into the wall?
is the volume on the amp on?
is the volume on the guitar on?

i'm sure a solution is there somewhere.
