depends on the integrity on the person workign the refunds desk.

if you are missing a minor part like a washer or screw... no prob, returning a box of rocks will get you arrested for retail fraud. Is it worth it?

sounds like you're planning on stealing something, generally yes, if it's something expensive then they will check it 100%. If it's just missing a few nuts or bolts they wont nottice but if you give them back a box full of rocks or broken wood then you would have a real problem.

Methinks you are going to attempt a theft. You may, or may not get caught. Remember this though, you may be the next person that buys something with parts missing.

they are supposed to. If they don't and you take a box or something back that is empty or worn, they could get fired. I wouldn't do that.
