Ayuda me means help me - probably as an exclamation.

ayúdame a poner la mesa help me (to) set the table

Puede(s) ayudarme ? - can you help me. (include the s for informal).

You would not use querer in this context. Quiere ayudarme ? means "Do you want to help me ?"
