ok chilax seriosly your 132 pounds and your 12 your going through that weird time when you get older you will probably be average of even skinny . If you are really worried about it though you just have to exercise and eat healthy. It sounds lame but its true. Another thing why are you worried about diabetes, it usually just happens if someone else in your family has it and even then it doesn't mean its gunna happen and it usually happens when you get older anyway. I'm sayin that people can't get it when there young i have this guy friend and he got it at the age of 14. But if you really are that worried about it then i would ask my parents of go see a doctor so they can explain these things to you!! :)

Don't worry about it. Weight fluctuates whenever you're going through puberty. If you're really concerned, just exercise on a regular basis. (kick boxing, dancing, running) but don't overdo it. Just workout every other day and eat healthy and you should be fine. No need to worry or be scared. As long as you don't pig out..you'll be okay

i dont think you should be too worried at the moment, you certainly don't need liposuction or weightloss pills. (sorry its so darn long, i tried to shorten it)

i agree that eating right and excercise will work here, i think its hard to really understand what eating right means. I've done studying in the past and hopefully i can help;

what to eat:
there is a table called the glycemic index that tells which foods are quickly converted to blood sugar. Since you were worried about diabetes this is an important factor. Foods with a low glycemic index (whose carbs are slowly converted to blood sugar) are best to keep your blood sugar level which can help prevent diabetes. foods like plums, peaches, barley, chickpeas, yogurt, cashews, cherries, etc. have a low GI, as well as many others. you can probably find a table by typing in "glycemic index" in any search engine.

what ever you do, don't avoid fats. at least not the good ones, like unsaturated fats. look at the food labels for foods that have a more unsaturated fats and less saturated and trans fats. poly/mono unsaturated=good. saturated, trans fats=not so good. this not only helps weight but the heart and other things as well.

eating foods with a lot of fiber, proteins, and good fats can help your body absorb vitamins bettter, prevent hunger, and lower how fast food is converted to blood sugar. if you want to eat some of the high glycemic index foods (again, look up a chart to see these), have them with fiber, proteins,and good fats. (meat, whole grains, fish, etc.)

what to avoid:
avoid too much added sugar, but you probably knew that. fruit sugar, the kind they have in juice is okay, having it with fiber helps. look in the ingredients to be sure there isn't extra sugar added in the forms of "dextrose" "maltose" "fructose", "corn syrup"

speaking of corn syrup, avoid "high fructose corn syrup" when you can. rule of thumb, if its one of the first 3-5 ingredients try to sidestep that product.

type in the phrase "Dr. Oz" in a search engine, he knows quite a bit too

i know you're 12 and im 16 so i hope this isn't two overwhelming! if you have questions you can e-mail me or look them up in search engines for more explanation. (you will be a wise 12-year old). good luck ;)

review: low glycemic index foods. fiber, protein and more good fats, less bad fats. less sugar and high fructose corn syrup. read your food labels. and of course lots of fruits and veggies!

Unless your doc recommends it, don't go on a diet. I'm 120 pounds at 13, and it's mostly because I play sports all year round. So 132 lbs sounds right to me, because muscle weighs more that fat. Don't worry.
