Do angels talk and play with children?Till what age?If not why do some children talk about things they have never observed or seen before? What does religion have to say about these thoughts?

Almost everyone agrees that they do not remember seeing anything as children. It seems by the time we are capable of understanding the concept of angels it is too late to remember if we actually saw them at all

for a while, until they have to grow up, children sense all sorts of things that we as adults [most of us anyway] have been conditioned not to see or hear or feel any more
faeries, invisible [to adults] friends, etc

what these things are interpreted as are usually defined by the adults who listen to the child.
if the adults are religious, they could be attributed to angels.
if they are not religious, they might be defined as faeries or spirits etc
[this is a slight generalisation but for the sake of keeping this brief...]

the age limit depends on how the child is brought up. if the imagination and creativity is encouraged, then that child may sense these things for a while.

if however it is frowned upon and discouraged, whether subtly or more overtly, then the child will learn not to speak about these things and the ability will fade faster.

if you're lucky, you will continue to sense this world behind the veil :)

blessed be

I am not year if I've seen Angels as a child, but I did sense spirits around me. A little girl once pointed towards my direction and said "Look Daddy, an Angel"... I'm not sure if she was pointing at me or behind me, but I know she saw something...

it is thought by some that children do see dead loved ones, guardian angels, and spirit guides because they are still so close to God. In some cultures...the Indian culture specifically...children do not walk for the first six months because it is believed they are still so close to God that you would not put God on the floor. I believe kids do continue to to see until they are either pushed into "reality" (i.e. parents or other people telling them that what they are seeing is not there or there is no such thing), or they simply forget by loss of innocence. That's what I believe anyway. I believe we all retain that "divine memory" until we lose in one way or another, but, we always keep our closeness with God until we decide by free will to decline it.

No. I would have remembered THAT. Religions say that 'guardian angels' watch over us, but do not interact unless it's absolutely necessary. And I HAVE had THAT happen a couple of times.

Yes, they can and have. Angels have appeared to mankind since the beginning of time as messengers.
Jesus says, "God sends angels to have charge over His children to watch over them and to protect them."

The KJV Holy Bible recounts many many times that people have been visited by and have seen angels.
If it was true then, since Almighty God changes not, then it is absolutely possible today too.

I never saw an angel as a child. I haven't seen any definitive research on it either.

well, they often have imaginary friends and maybe they are angels / spirits.
apparently dogs (animals in general) see them too.
i remember reading something a long time ago about higher incidences of imaginary friends with children in families where either a sibling had died, or there had been a late miscarriage / still birth etc.
i think children have imaginary friends (or whatever) for as long as they need them.
