Any church organized after the True Church of Jesus Christ had been contaminated by the evil forces, that existed and promoted itself "by the sword," is based on error and/or a deliberate contamination of those things that were only meant for the Saints of God, the true followers of Jesus.

Since there are no original records that illustrate the original structure of Jesus Christ, the world was left with pieces of records which fell into the wicked hands of evil, Dark Age influences. The Light of Truth was not found on the Earth, for the Dark forces of opposition against the Saints had prevailed.

Yet, as prophesied by the Holy Prophets of God, a plan was established to restore truth again to the earth before the end came. And anyone with any intelligence has to notice that an explosion of Light and Truth and prosperity has enveloped the world since the early 1800's, starting when a young man at the age of 14 saw and talked with God face to face, as a man speaketh with his friend.

Later encounters led to this boy's call from the Lord to restore the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth once more and for it's final time, to prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus, and the restoration of the lost House of Israel -- for God remembers his promises which he has made to his covenant people.

Now we live in a world that has transpired more than 175 years since that young man's experiences, and see what the world is like? Computers, Radio and Television, Satellites circling our planet, marvels in medicine and agriculture -- indeed, the Light of Jesus Christ has engulfed the world again, and produced the fruits of miracles all around us!

This alone is a testament to me of the truthfulness of the calling of Joseph Smith in being the prophet that Jesus used to Restore the truths that had been covered up or otherwise lost during the Dark Ages. The expansion of the works which Jesus started through the service of Joseph Smith, parallels the burst of secular knowledge and power that has grown in these recent years at incredible rates. All because the Light and Life or the World had been restored, and has been able to increase and power because it was established in America, where men were free to believe as they desired, and not as the government enforced by it's "sword."

And this is no coincidence! This land, America, was hidden from the world, and preserved for the purposes of the Lord, to establish his truth in the last days.

And so it is!

Check out the teachings of the Early Christians,the Fathers(especially the Sub Apostolic ) of the Church and you will see that the practices are Catholic and not Protestant(which started 1500 years after Christ)

Protestantism is derived from Catholicism

Because members,even leaders, do stray from the teachings and ethics of the catholic fullness of christianity does no give any ammunition to those who try to discredit the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The Modern Age came out of the Middle Ages and we owe alot to the Hindus,Chinese, Muslims,Byzantines and Western European Christians

I'm not sure the Roman Catholic faith is conversion by the sword by the Muslim faith is. If Sharia law is enacted in any country by Muslims, all infidels will have two choices. Either accept Islam or die.
