The first time always hurts the worst. However, to take a phrase from little orphan Annie the sun will come out tomorrow. There is no denying that it hurts and it's only human that you would have the reaction that you are having right now. What I remember doing when I got my heart broke the first time was that I gave myself a day to feel bad and mope around because if you don't get some of that out it tends to come back. After that day I made a conscious effort to not think about it as much and keep myself busy. At first it was difficult but after awhile, just like any new behavior, it became a habit and I was as good as new

I'm sorry to hear that!!! But trust me... when you're over this and looking back it will be the silliest thing you've ever done. First break ups are hard. We are human beings, time will heal and we'll learn to adapt.

How I do mine is that I put a time on my head... I keep my head straight telling myself that I'm going to feel this way 3 more days.. and then I'll just say "F***K IT!!!"

Other thing you can do is eat ice cream, chocolate.. something with sugar in it. It'll boost your sugar level and it'll make you feel better... or you can watch all those romantic movies and listen to all break up love songs and cry your heart out til you're sick and tired of it and in the end you'll have a conclusion on your mind saying "this guy isn't worth my tears no more!" and then slowly move on...

Some day you will find the right person... It's all about learning and experiencing. The more you learn and experience, on your next relationship you'll know how to deal.

If you really love him with all your heart, you still have a lifetime to go because it is always hard to forget our first love.

Crying Hearts,
By Mike McCracken

Why is it so hard to love when it's free
I give you all my love you let it be
I do things you hate, I guess it's true
Never counted on hate being free too
The price is broken hearts all broken in two
With each broken part crying, I love you.

Some people cry what seems to them an ocean of tears.

Go ahead and cry your ocean. It is OK. Some things just have to be done. I don't know why, Maybe it is our way of healing our heart.

Time will heal your heart and dry your tears.

Now, for another answer.

Here is one way to dry your tears. Use a towel.

Smile it is OK or even laugh.

If you can't turn up the ends of you lips and smile, just let the middle sag.

It's okay. I bet your a great person. If that special someone and you really share a bond, and you think it's worth it, try fixing it. Otherwise, if they were using you, phony, or you two just kind of went you ways, cheer up! You should think of the new people you'll get to meet, the new adventures, and the idea of being able to do whatever you want. You'll find someone, just keep looking- you won't get anywhere crying. I have to put my dog down (I know this is a little different) but I am trying to look on the bright side. You have your memories, but Never live in the past.
Good luck

Sometimes the best thing is a good cry. Booze and Food are not the answer. Unless you want to gain weight and throw up .
We all suffer from a broken heart at some point in our lives. Turn your focus to yourself. Grab a piece of paper and write down three things that you like about yourself, and three things that you think you can improve on. We can all stand to make improvements in our lives. When you switch the focus away from the other person and to yourself. You will feel better. Remember it takes time.

Crying is a natural reaction to loss. You have lost the one you loved. You've lost the dreams that you believed would come true with your first love. You will stop crying when the pain goes away. And the pain will go away. Just realize that it is okay to have the desire to cry and to miss what you don't have. Everything will be okay. You will feel much better tomorrow.

Well, first off,it is okay to cry. That is your body's way of getting rid of the stress.Second, breakups happen all the time. They have since time was time(lol).Everyone gets hurt or hurts.it is not a easy thing to deal with but time is what heals it all.Asses what the breakup came from.Think about whether it was your fault or theirs. If you broke up,then you must have had good reason. If they broke up,maybe it was a misunderstanding.Or,maybe you were just not right for them. But you can be a assured, you ARE right for someone and as soon as you can,go out and try to find them. And remember,as bad as it hurts, think about when you find someone else who DOESN"T hurt you. That will be a happy day:-)

The first one is always the hardest...Usually words from other people are no help. You just have to be strong and realize that life goes on, there will be more guys out there. I know, that isn't what you wanted to hear but just think of it this way, everything happens for a reason. This is the start of your path to your mr. right! Someday you will find a guy worthy of your tears, and if he truly is worthy, he won't make you cry :)

Call up your best friend and go do something. Things may look better tomorrow. Crying 4 hrs. will only make you sick. Put it on hold for a while. Cry more later if you have to...give yourself permission to take a break.
